Job summary

Chateau Retirement Communities in Lynnwood, WA is seeking a part-time Food Service Assistant to serve meals, clear tables, and support kitchen tasks in accordance with property guidelines.

You will work with residents in a warm, friendly manner, participate in daily and weekly cleaning schedules, and assist with delivering meals while communicating inventory needs to supervisors. Prior food service experience is preferred and English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.
• Calm, pleasant, and polite demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals and bus, clean, and reset tables according to property guidelines.
• Participate in a daily and weekly cleaning schedule for kitchen and dining room areas.
• Assist with assembling and delivering food trays as directed.
• Communicate with residents in a warm and friendly manner.
• Help maintain the organization and appearance of kitchen and dining areas, informing supervisors about inventory that needs to be re-ordered.

A Day in the Life

Requirements
