Job summary

The Francis in Portland, Maine is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and organization of our luxury boutique hotel. As a member of our hospitality team, the Housekeeper plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms and common areas, restocking amenities, and providing exceptional service. Flexibility to work weekends/holidays and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards.
• Change linens, make beds, and restock amenities in guest rooms.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in all areas of the hotel.
• Empty and properly dispose of trash and recycling.
• Replenish supplies such as towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to management.
• Assist with laundry and linen duties as needed.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests at all times.

Job Summary

The Housekeeper at The Francis is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our luxury boutique hotel in Portland, Maine. As a member of our hospitality team, the Housekeeper plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time hourly position with a competitive starting salary of $18.50 to $19.50 per hour, paid weekly.
