The Francis in Portland, Maine, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness across luxury guest rooms and common areas. You will ensure a comfortable stay through attentive service and adherence to hotel standards.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays; Sundays required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards.
• Change linens, make beds, and restock amenities in guest rooms.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in all areas of the hotel.
• Empty and properly dispose of trash and recycling.
• Replenish supplies such as towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to management.
• Assist with laundry and linen duties as needed.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests at all times.
