Housekeeper: FT and PT Availability

Summary: Responsible for demonstrating and promoting SRIM's core value of the Golden Rule, treating others (residents, families, and associates) in the same way we would like to be treated. Under supervision, providing a variety of housekeeping and laundry duties while maintaining the community in an orderly, clean, and sanitary condition.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow established cleaning schedules.
• Complete daily dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of all common areas.
• Perform deep cleaning of resident rooms as scheduled.
• Clean administrative offices as scheduled.
• Sanitize bathrooms thoroughly.
• Clean carpets and mop all floors upon request.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment for residents.
• Support a dignified, caring atmosphere for residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Respond promptly and courteously to requests for assistance.
• Interact with residents showing empathy, kindness, compassion, and respect.
• Communicate effectively in a language residents understand.
• Maintain a safe environment, reporting hazards immediately.
• Practice good body mechanics and safety habits.
• Assist in emergencies and follow policies accordingly.
• Work as part of a team, demonstrating a positive attitude.
• Adhere to attendance policies and participate in trainings and meetings.
• Wear appropriate, clean attire per dress code.
• Refer resident issues to the nursing supervisor, maintaining confidentiality.
• Comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist nursing staff and participate in resident activities.
• Serve and assist residents during meals.
• Willingly take on special projects or duties outside regular responsibilities.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
