Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain villa cleanliness and guest comfort at our properties in Palm Springs. This role involves cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms, restocking amenities, and reporting status to leadership.

It requires flexibility for shifts, including weekends, and physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs. You will work in a supportive environment with competitive pay, on-site parking, meal discounts, and ongoing growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and weekends.
• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull items up to 25 lbs.
• Background and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Clean the entirety of villas (Kitchens, Bathrooms, Dining Rooms, Bedrooms) according to standards.
• Complete assigned rooms and tasks within the scheduled shift.
• Replace all guest amenities such as linens, towels, toiletries, and kitchen items according to standards.
• Report room status to the Main Linen Room, Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor, or Front Desk.
• Fill the Housekeeping cart/caddy with supplies/chemicals, transport to rooms, and return the cart to the designated area at the end of the shift.
• Follow all company policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, and/or accidents.

To Become a Housekeeper at MVW:

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.

• Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.

• Lift/Carry/Push/Pull Items that Weigh up to 25lbs without assistance.

• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
