Job summary

Garrison Forest School is seeking an experienced, full-time housekeeper to work Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, starting immediately. The role involves cleaning campus facilities in a fast-paced, highly organized department and offers an hourly rate of $16–$18 based on experience.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of full-time housekeeping experience, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and demonstrate reliable transportation and a professional demeanor. Weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Restock restrooms and common areas with supplies as needed.
• Assist other housekeepers or take on additional duties as required.

Job DetailsHousekeeper

Garrison Forest School is seeking an experienced full-time housekeeper to work Monday-Friday 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM starting immediately. This person will be responsible for performing housekeeping/cleaning services to our buildings while working within a fast paced, highly organized department. The ideal candidate should have a background in housekeeping. The hourly rate for this position is between $16-$18 per hour based on experience level; the exact compensation will be discussed during the hiring process

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assume the responsibility for the overall cleaning of the campus facility or facilities assigned during the scheduled shift.
• Maintain knowledge of state of the art cleaning products, equipment, techniques.
• Vacuum, damp mop and sweep all floors.
• Dust and vacuum all furniture as needed.
• Spot-check and remove any visible markings on walls or furniture.
• Collect and remove all trash from assigned building and place in dumpster.
• Collect and remove all recycled materials from assigned building and place in recycle dumpster.
• Sanitize all fixtures and surfaces in restroom.
• Stock all restrooms with paper towels, toilet tissue, soap, etc.
• Sanitize desk tops and counters in designated areas.
• Assist other housekeepers or take on other duties assigned to another housekeeper in their absence.
