Lees-McRae College is seeking a full-time housekeeper to join the facilities team. The role involves cleaning assigned areas, handling trash, and maintaining floors with buffing equipment, while strictly using PPE to ensure safety and hygiene on campus.
The position requires adherence to the schedule (Tuesday–Saturday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.) with occasional evening/weekend work. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are preferred qualifications.
Housekeeper reports to Housekeeping Supervisor and assists in the physical cleaning of all college facilities.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Strenuous physical activity. Housekeepers are required to move around campus properties and work with cleaning chemicals. Housekeepers must always use proper protective equipment.
This is a full-time position.
Days and hours of work are Tuesday through Saturday, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
No travel is expected for this position.
