Job summary

The Orchard Ltd in Ridgeland, MS is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to support our elder care campus. The role focuses on cleaning, sanitation, and compassionate service to residents across multiple locations on site.

You will follow cleaning agents' directions, maintain daily duties, and communicate respectfully with residents, families, staff, and officials. Must read and write English and meet state health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to daily tasks as well as unpredictable situations that require housekeeping.
• Work in multiple locations across campus as needed.
• Follow manufacturer directions for all cleaning agents and equipment.
• Dust, Vacuum, and Mop on a daily basis.
• Clean spills promptly and completely.
• Respond promptly to unscheduled housekeeping needs.
• Empty trash from resident apartments, office areas, and common areas.
• Scrub areas that require heavy-duty attention when necessary.
• Redo areas as necessary to maintain continual cleanliness and sanitation.
• Frequently check high traffic areas to ensure cleanliness and sanitation.
• Respond appropriately to residents requiring heavier and more frequent housekeeping.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all common areas of the facility.
• Interact with residents and other staff members in a respectful manner.
• Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
