Job summary

Woodridge Assisted Living Facility in Monroe, NC is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. You will perform general cleaning, laundry, waste management, and assist with supplies, working closely with the care team to ensure comfort and dignity for residents.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior housekeeping or janitorial experience, knowledge of cleaning products and safety protocols, and a compassionate

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Clean vacuum, dust, sanitize, and mop common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms.
• Laundry Services: Wash, fold, and distribute laundry for residents and staff as needed.
• Waste Management: Dispose of trash and recycling and keep waste areas clean.
• Inventory Management: Restock cleaning supplies and equipment; notify of shortages.
• Safety & Sanitation: Follow safety protocols to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
• Team Collaboration: Work with staff to maintain facility and comfort.
• Resident Engagement: Interact with residents in a friendly, respectful manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and mopping common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Laundry Services: Assist with washing, folding, and distributing laundry for residents and staff as needed.
• Waste Management: Dispose of trash and recycling materials properly, ensuring that waste areas are clean and organized.
• Inventory Management: Assist with maintaining and restocking cleaning supplies and equipment. Notify management of any supply shortages or equipment issues.
• Safety & Sanitation: Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for residents and staff.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure that the facility is well-maintained and residents are comfortable.
• Resident Engagement: Engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
