Job summary

Rolling Ridge Assisted Living in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a clean, comfortable environment for residents. You will perform general cleaning, laundry, waste management, and help keep common areas and resident rooms pristine.

This role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and compassionate service. Training and supportive leadership are provided to help you grow within our residential care community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with seniors.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning & Maintenance: Perform general cleaning duties, including vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and mopping common areas, resident rooms, and restrooms to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Laundry Services: Assist with washing, folding, and distributing laundry for residents and staff as needed.
• Waste Management: Dispose of trash and recycling materials properly, ensuring waste areas are clean and organized.
• Inventory Management: Maintain and restock cleaning supplies and equipment. Notify management of shortages or issues.
• Safety & Sanitation: Follow safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for residents and staff.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff to ensure the facility is well-maintained and residents are comfortable.
• Resident Engagement: Engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
