ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITYSchedule/Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:00am-2:00pmPay Class: Full time (28 hours)Pay: $14.25-$14.50This position is responsible for:Performs a variety of housekeeping duties in a shelter setting to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Cleans bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas; collects, washes, stores, and distributes linens; ensures the overall neatness and cleanliness of the shelter on a daily basis; and supports general facility upkeep.Key Responsibilities:Maintain clean and sanitary living spacesPerform laundry and linen managementEnsure facility upkeep and safetyMonitor and report maintenance needsSupport overall shelter operationsPhysical Requirements and Working Conditions:Work requires the ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull heavy (over 50 lbs.) materials, supplies, and equipment frequently.
