Job summary

Brookside Properties in Knoxville, TN is hiring a Housekeeper to keep our apartment community clean, welcoming, and move-in ready. This is a steady, year-round position with on-site duties and competitive hourly pay plus monthly bonuses.

You will clean vacant apartments and common areas, restock supplies, and maintain equipment while following safety guidelines. The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Housekeeping or custodial experience preferred; multi-family, hotel, or commercial experience is a plus.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
• Keep common areas, offices, and amenities clean and presentable.
• Restock cleaning supplies and maintain equipment.
• Provide professional, friendly service to residents and team members.

What You’ll Do

• Clean and prepare vacant apartments for new residents
• Keep common areas, offices, and amenities clean and presentable
• Restock cleaning supplies and maintain equipment
• Maintain assigned tools and work areas
• Provide professional, friendly service to residents and team members
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing guidelines

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Housekeeping or custodial experience preferred; multifamily, hotel, or commercial experience is a plus
• Must be 18 years or older
• Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable walking the property and working outdoors as needed
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs. occasionally
• Comfortable working with cleaning supplies and equipment
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
