Job summary

Brookside Properties is hiring a dedicated groundskeeper/porter to maintain our community surroundings in Knoxville, TN. You will keep grounds clean, assist with vacant apartments, and support maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Groundskeeping or maintenance experience is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to walk the property, climb stairs and ladders, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Keep the community grounds clean, attractive, and well maintained.
• Pick up trash and debris throughout the property.
• Maintain sidewalks, parking lots, landscaping, and common areas.
• Assist with preparing vacant apartments for new residents.
• Perform light maintenance and porter duties as needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing guidelines.

• Ability to walk the property throughout the day, climb stairs and ladders, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly (heavier lifting occasionally with assistance)
• Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
