Job summary

Brookside Properties is hiring a Groundskeeper for Hudson on the Greenway in Knoxville, TN. If you enjoy outdoor work and take pride in keeping communities attractive, we want to meet you.

You will maintain grounds, pick up trash, handle sidewalks and common areas, help prepare vacant apartments, perform light maintenance, and keep tools and equipment in good condition. Brookside offers competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Experience in groundskeeping or maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Ability to walk the property, climb stairs and ladders, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Keep the community grounds clean, attractive, and well maintained
• Pick up trash and debris throughout the property
• Maintain sidewalks, parking lots, landscaping, and common areas
• Assist with preparing vacant apartments for new residents
• Perform light maintenance and porter duties as needed
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing guidelines

What You'll Do

• Keep the community grounds clean, attractive, and well maintained
• Pick up trash and debris throughout the property
• Maintain sidewalks, parking lots, landscaping, and common areas
• Assist with preparing vacant apartments for new residents

• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas
• Follow OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing guidelines

What We're Looking For

• At least 18 years of age
• Previous groundskeeping, porter, landscaping, janitorial, or maintenance experience is a plus
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to walk the property throughout the day, climb stairs and ladders, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly (heavier lifting occasionally with assistance)
• Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
