Job summary

Seasons Rehab and Healthcare Center in Kansas City, MO is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper / Environmental Services Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming healthcare facility. You will perform daily housekeeping tasks, sanitize and polish surfaces, and ensure vacant rooms are properly prepared for new residents.

Ideal candidates have housekeeping experience, knowledge of sanitation and infection control, and the ability to relate warmly to residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sanitation, infection control, and general cleaning procedures.
• Minimum 10th grade education.
• Must speak and write in English.
• Ability to relate to residents and staff in a courteous, professional manner.
• Must pass a thorough background screening.
• Fully or partially vaccinated against COVID-19, or willing to receive vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping functions per established procedures and work assignments.
• Clean, sanitize, and polish furnishings, floors, and bathrooms.
• Spot check and clean vacant rooms as needed.
• Follow facility safety and infection control practices when using equipment and supplies.
• Maintain clean work and supply carts and equipment.
• Attend departmental meetings, in-service training, and on-the-job educational programs.
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
