Job summary

River Crossing Rehab & Healthcare Center in Missouri is seeking team members for our Housekeeping Department to maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented environment. Join our active, fast-paced, and fun team while making an impact on patient care. This role supports a sanitary, comfortable setting and enhances the overall appearance of the facility.

Qualifications

• Vaccination against COVID-19 required or willingness to vaccinate.
• Ability to speak and write English.
• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general cleaning procedures and sanitation techniques.
• Successful completion of background screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping assignments according to procedures.
• Clean, wash, sanitize, and polish furnishings.
• Clean floors and bathrooms as directed.
• Check and clean assigned vacant rooms as needed.
• Follow safety and infection control practices.
• Clean work carts and equipment as required.
• Attend staff meetings and in-service training.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Housekeeping Requirements:

• Fully or partially vaccinated against COVID-19, or willingness to receive vaccination
• Minimum 10th grade education
• Ability to speak and write English
• Housekeeping experience preferred
• Knowledge of general cleaning procedures and sanitation techniques
• Courteous and professional interaction with residents and staff
• Successful completion of background screening
• Ability to meet physical demands of the position
