Job summary

Emmetsburg Care Center in Iowa is seeking a friendly Housekeeper for a part-time shift from 7am to 3pm. You will maintain cleanliness and infection control across all resident areas, using approved cleaning tools and chemicals to ensure a safe, high-standard living environment for our residents.

Qualifications

• Eleventh grade education required.
• Prior housekeeping experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferable but training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards across all resident areas.
• Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility using approved tools and chemicals.
• Operate housekeeping equipment in a safe and effective manner.

As a Housekeeper you are instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards of our resident's environment. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Emmetsburg Care Center by cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the facility and operating housekeeping related tools, chemicals and equipment. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure a clean and safe environment.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an eleventh (11th) grade education. Prior Housekeeping experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
