Job summary

Hallmark Care Center in Mount Vernon, IA is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and support infection control across the facility. You will clean and sanitize all resident areas, operate housekeeping tools and chemicals, and help ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

We require a minimum of 11th grade education; previous housekeeping experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred, but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 11th grade education.
• Prior housekeeping experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred, but training may be provided.

Responsibilities

As a Housekeeper you are instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards of our resident’s environment. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Hallmark Care Center by cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the facility and operating housekeeping related tools, chemicals and equipment. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure a clean and safe environment.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an eleventh (11th) grade education. Prior Housekeeping experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
