Job summary

Valley Vue Care Center is hiring Housekeepers to join a friendly, caring team in a Skilled Nursing setting. You will help maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and will be trained to handle housekeeping tools and chemicals with care.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred but training will be provided.
• High attention to cleanliness and infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of resident areas, bathrooms, and common spaces to ensure a safe living environment.
• Sanitize and restock housekeeping supplies and operate related equipment safely.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and report any concerns to supervisors.
• Assist with waste disposal and linen handling as required.

As a Housekeeper you are instrumental in maintaining the cleanliness and infection control standards of our resident’s environment. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Valley Vue Care Center by cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the facility and operating housekeeping related tools, chemicals and equipment. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure a clean and safe environment.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an eleventh (11th) grade education. Prior Housekeeping experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate.
