Job summary

Bedford Care Center is seeking a reliable Housekeeping Attendant to perform daily duties inside and outside the Facility under supervision. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, bathrooms, offices and common areas, maintaining safe, organized workspaces, and communicating with staff to meet residents' needs.

Applicants should be able to read and write to understand policies and regulations, be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, pass drug screens and background checks; prior housekeeping

Qualifications

• Must read and write to understand Company Policies, laws and regulations.
• Prior housekeeping experience in long-term care is preferred.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass drug screens and have a satisfactory Criminal History Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and mop floors in hallways and common areas daily.
• Clean bathrooms, sinks, toilets and other areas; manage trash and liners.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean, safe, and organized; store supplies properly.
• Communicate courteously with staff to meet residents' needs.

Job Summary

Performs daily Housekeeping duties inside and outside Facility under supervision of Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Duties

• Sweeps, dust mops, damp/wet mops floors in hallways, offices and common areas daily
• Cleans soiled areas, empties trash cans, replaces can liners, cleans bathrooms, sinks, toilets and other areas
• Keeps equipment and work areas clean, safe organized and keeps equipment and supplies properly stored
• Communicates courteously with staff in other Departments to adequately meet the needs of the Residents

Qualifications

Must be able to read and write at a level necessary to understand Company Policies, applicable Laws and Regulations regarding job duties; prefer previous Housekeeping experience in a long-term care Facility; must be in good physical condition and able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; must pass drug screens and have a satisfactory Criminal History Background Check
