Job summary

Morningside House of Spotsylvania is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to support our memory care community in Fredericksburg, VA. This full-time role focuses on cleaning apartments, hallways, and common areas and preparing units for new residents.

You will follow safety guidelines, participate in training, and contribute to a positive environment for residents, families, and staff. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning assignments in apartments, hallways and common areas.
• Prepares apartments for move-in as assigned.
• Participates in annual cleaning schedules.
• Uses cleaning chemicals properly and safely per guidelines.
• Informs supervisor of resident issues or concerns.
• Keeps housekeeping carts and vacuums clean and in good working order.
• Participates in energy awareness program.
• Attends required trainings, in-service, and staff meetings.
• Maintains a safe working environment and preserves equipment.
• Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
• Follows all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Housekeeper - Requirements:

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
