Morningside House of Spotsylvania is seeking a full-time Housekeeper to perform cleaning in apartments, hallways, and common areas at our memory care community in Fredericksburg, VA.

Responsibilities include preparing apartments for move-in, following safety guidelines, and contributing to cleaning schedules. A High School diploma or GED is required, with 1–3 months related experience or training preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience or training preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning assignments in apartments, hallways and common areas.
• Prepares apartments for move-in as assigned.
• Housekeeper participates in annual cleaning schedules.
• Utilizes cleaning chemicals properly and safely in accordance with department guidelines.
• Informs supervisor of any pertinent resident issues or concerns.
• Keeps housekeeping carts and vacuums clean and in good working order.
• Participates in energy awareness program.
• Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
• Maintains a safe working environment and protects equipment.
• Maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
