At Residence Inn Fort Wayne, we are looking for a professional, energetic Full-Time Housekeeper. The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for guests daily.

Overview

The Housekeeper will perform cleaning duties to maintain the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas. Responsibilities include making beds, replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, and vacuuming.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Carry linens, towels, toiletries, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts.
• Clean guest rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other areas to meet health standards.
• Empty wastebaskets, clean ashtrays, and dispose of trash properly.
• Replenish supplies such as linens, bathroom items, and writing supplies.
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and organized.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstery, and draperies using vacuum cleaners and shampooers.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork; wax and polish surfaces as needed.
• Hang draperies and dust window blinds.
• Protect hotel and guest property, report damages, thefts, and found items.
• Remove debris from driveways, garages, and pool areas.
• Sort, count, and store clean linens appropriately.

Education and Experience

• Some high school education preferred.
• No prior experience required.
