Job summary

Great Lakes Management Co. is seeking a reliable housekeeper for Seven Hills Senior Living in St. Paul, MN.

Typical shifts run 8 am–4 pm with a flexible schedule; weeks alternate Mon–Fri and Tue–Sat. Pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.00 per hour, with daily pay and medical benefits available. You will maintain resident apartments and common areas, follow the housekeeping schedule, and handle inventory and supplies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year housekeeping/cleaning experience.
• Able to make responsible choices and decisions, and act in the resident's and overall community's best interest.
• Ability to motivate oneself and work independently.
• Ability to be flexible and to work with other staff and residents.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
• Good work ethic
• Maintains confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent & quality work to the residents and staff
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and cleaning cart
• Follow job routines and instructions according to the assigned housekeeping schedule
• Assure resident apartments are clean and sanitized as scheduled
• Maintain inventory for daily needs & notify supervisor of supply issues
• Assist in keeping all common areas neat, clean and safe
• Follow the daily schedule to ensure all tasks are accomplished in a timely manner

Housekeeping Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide consistent & quality work to the residents and staff
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and cleaning cart

Cleaning duties includes but not limited to:

• Vacuuming hallways, elevators and furniture
• Washing inside glass doors and windows
• Sweeping and/or mopping floors
• Cleaning and stocking supplies in restroom
• Dusting
• Rubbish/trash removal
• Washing / polishing woodwork and baseboards
• Seasonal duties as assigned

Housekeeping Qualifications
