Great-Lakes-Management-Co. is seeking an On-Call Housekeeper for Saint Paul, MN, supporting Seven Hills Senior Living. The role offers an hourly pay range of $17.00–$18.00 and typical hours from 9am to 5pm, with an on-call arrangement.

Position is based at 733 Selby Ave, St. Paul, MN. Responsibilities include maintaining clean resident apartments and common areas, stocking supplies, and following the housekeeping schedule to complete tasks on time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year housekeeping/cleaning experience.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Ability to be flexible and work with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent & quality work to the residents and staff.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and cleaning cart.
• Follow job routines and instructions according to the assigned housekeeping schedule.
• Assure resident apartments are clean and sanitized as scheduled.
• Maintain inventory for daily needs & notify supervisor of supply issues.
• Assist in keeping all common areas neat, clean and safe.
• Follow the daily schedule to ensure all tasks are accomplished in a timely manner.

Housekeeping Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide consistent & quality work to the residents and staff
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and cleaning cart
• Follow job routines and instructions according to the assigned housekeeping schedule
• Assure resident apartments are clean and sanitized as scheduled
• Maintain inventory for daily needs & notify supervisor of supply issues

Cleaning duties includes but not limited to:

• Vacuuming hallways, elevators and furniture
• Washing inside glass doors and windows
• Sweeping and/or mopping floors
• Cleaning and stocking supplies in restroom
• Dusting
• Rubbish/trash removal
• Washing / polishing woodwork and baseboards
• Seasonal duties as assigned

Housekeeping Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year housekeeping/cleaning experience
• Able to make responsible choices and decisions, and act in the resident’s and overall community's best interest
• Ability to motivate oneself and work independently
• Ability to be flexible and to work with other staff and residents
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals
• Good work ethic
• Maintains confidentiality
