Job summary

Glenn of West St. Paul Senior Living is hiring a part-time Housekeeper to work 3 days per week with 6–8 hour shifts. Responsibilities include cleaning resident apartments, laundering as scheduled, and maintaining common areas and supplies.

The role requires at least 1 year of housekeeping experience, reliability, and English literacy. A friendly team environment and resident-focused care are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year housekeeping/cleaning experience.
• Ability to read, write, spell, do basic math, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions, and act in the resident’s best interest.
• Ability to motivate oneself and work independently.
• Ability to be flexible and to work with other staff and residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent & quality work to the residents and staff.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and cleaning cart.
• Follow job routines and instructions according to the assigned housekeeping schedule.
• Assure resident apartment and laundry are clean and sanitized as scheduled.
• Maintain inventory for daily needs & notify supervisor of supply issues.
• Assist in keeping all common areas neat, clean, and safe.
• Follow the daily schedule to ensure all tasks are accomplished in a timely manner.
• Cleaning duties includes but not limited to: Vacuuming hallways, elevators, and furniture; Washing inside glass doors and windows; Sweeping and/or mopping floors; Cleaning and stocking supplies in restroom; Dusting.
