Job summary

Devonshire by Erickson Senior Living in Palm Beach Gardens, FL, is seeking a PRN Housekeeper to join our caregiving community. Compensation is $16.00 per hour, with shifts including Monday through Sunday; some days are OFF.

The role involves cleaning resident homes and common areas, using specialized equipment, and upholding safety and quality standards. You will work independently or in a team, maintain carpets and floors, and ensure respectful interactions with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience cleaning in residential or commercial settings.
• Ability to operate carpet care equipment and hard floor care equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to safely operate housekeeping vehicles.
• Demonstrate professional interactions with residents, staff and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident homes in Independent Living or resident rooms in Nursing Home.
• Maintain cleanliness of the community using specialized equipment.
• Clean public bathrooms, lobbies and living areas, remove trash and replace liners.
• Dust and vacuum classrooms, boards, tables and chairs.
• Assist with trash collection and disposal.
• Maintain carpeted surfaces through extraction, interim cleaning and vacuuming.

Monday: 2pm – 10:30PM

Tuesday: 2pm – 10:30pm

Wednesday: 2pm – 10:30pm

Thursday/Friday: OFF

Saturday: 8am – 4:30pm

Sunday: 8am – 4:30pm

How you will make an impact

• Cleaning resident’s homes in Independent Living or

Resident Rooms in Nursing Home

• Maintaining cleanliness of the Community through the use of specialized equipment.
• Cleaning public bathrooms, including counters, mirrors, sinks, lavatories, fixtures
• Cleaning lobbies/living rooms including vacuuming, high and low dusting, de-cluttering, and removing trash, spot clean walls/windows/switches, baseboards, pictures, lights, HVAC vents.
• Cleaning classrooms, including dusting, vacuuming, white/chalkboards, tables/chairs
• Assisting with the collection, bagging, and disposal of trash, as well as replacing trashcan liners
• Maintaining carpeted surfaces, including extracting, interim cleaning, spotting, drying, and vacuuming.

What you will need

• Previous experience cleaning in a residential or commercial setting is ideal
• Ability to safely operate carpet care equipment, hard floor care equipment, trash removal equipment
• Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
• Ability to safely operate Housekeeping vehicles
• Ability to demonstrate professional and responsive interactions with residents and their family members, staff, vendors, and each other
