Responsibilities include Housekeeping and Laundry Aide Duties!

As a Housekeeper, you will maintain residents’ rooms and common areas of the community. You will follow cleaning schedules, coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing, and adhere to sanitary and safety regulations.

You Will:

• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts, keeping storage areas tidy.
• Disinfect equipment and surfaces using germicides or steam sterilizers.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and wastebaskets to meet health standards.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and staff.

You Currently:

• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Have compassion and interest in working with the senior population.
