Job summary

LR-Associates, LLC is seeking full-time Housekeepers to perform cleaning services at the Durham VA Medical Center in Durham, NC. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, reliable and a team player with a positive attitude. Multiple shifts are available: 7am-3:30pm or 3:30pm-11pm, Monday through Friday.

Applicants must be US citizens and able to pass a government background check. A minimum of one year cleaning experience, preferably in a hospital setting, is required.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and ability to pass a government background check.
• Multiple shifts available: Monday–Friday, 7am–3:30pm or 3:30pm–11pm.

Responsibilities

• Buff floors, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, empting trash, cleaning lobby, hallways and bathrooms.
• Dusting, cleaning doors and glass, removing litter, refilling paper products, cleaning kitchen/break areas.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service to all residents and customers.

• Buffing the floors, performing cleaning duties including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, emptying trash, cleaning the lobby area, hallways, bathrooms.
• Dusting, cleaning doors and glass, removing litter, refill all paper products, clean kitchen/break areas.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service to all residents and customers.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, reach, bend and stoop for extended periods of time; Ascending/Descending stairs and to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds frequently; May be required to lift up to 30 lbs.
