Job summary

Derry Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated housekeeping professional to maintain cleanliness in resident rooms and common areas. You will ensure equipment is clean and functioning and support a safe, sanitary environment for residents and staff.

The role requires reliability, a flexible schedule, and the ability to work as part of a team with a strong work ethic and customer service mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Reliable and keep to a schedule.
• May need to work a varied schedule, as requested.

Responsibilities

• Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details.
• Perform housekeeping chores in Resident rooms.
• Responsible for cleaning common areas of the facility.
• Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas.
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
• Removal of trash & soiled linens. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds.
• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Solid work ethic, with initiative for quality and customer service.
• Ability to learn how to operate commercial laundry equipment.
