Job summary

Traditions at Hunter Station in Sellersburg, Indiana, seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to create a warm, clean and safe living environment for our residents. You’ll perform duties in resident rooms and common areas, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

We value reliability, punctuality, and teamwork. Prior healthcare or commercial housekeeping experience is preferred; eligibility for a retirement plan and paid time off is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Reliable and keeps to a schedule.
• Healthcare or Commercial Laundry: 1 year (Preferred).
• Healthcare or Commercial Housekeeping: 1 year (Preferred).
• Retirement plan.

Responsibilities

• Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details.
• Perform housekeeping chores in Resident rooms.
• Responsible for cleaning common areas of the facility.
• Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas.
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
• Removal of trash & soiled linens. Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds.
• Must be able to work as a team member.
• Solid work ethic, with initiative for quality and customer service.
• Ability to learn how to operate commercial laundry equipment.
