Job summary

Indiana Hospitality Group is seeking a guest-focused Housekeeper for on-site work at Holiday Inn Express and Suites. Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and bathrooms to IHG standards, stocking supplies, and assisting guests with requests.

The role requires attention to detail and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with weekend availability preferred. The successful candidate will maintain cleanliness, assist with storage organization, and report any maintenance concerns.

Qualifications

• Frequent standing, bending, walking, and moving around the hotel.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull, up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to include weekends.
• Prioritization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean, dust, vacuum and mop room and bathroom according to IHG standards and procedure.
• Clean rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
• Stock assigned housekeeping cart with cleaning supplies and room amenities.
• Replenish guest amenities in rooms as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized housekeeping storage.
• Communicate any maintenance concerns to maintenance department.
• Transport waste and trash to proper disposal area.
• Turn in Lost and Found items to the front desk.
• Maintain guest confidentiality.
• Greet guests and respond to guest requests or concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
• All other duties as assigned.
