Job summary

Cygnet is seeking a part-time Housekeeper for Hope House in Hartlepool. The role is 24 hours per week, aimed at maintaining a safe and healthy environment for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. A DBS check will be required, and COSHH awareness is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness.
• Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes.
• Maintain & replenish stock and ensure that equipment is clean & well maintained.
• Employ safe working practices & adhere to health & safety procedures.

Youll be working part time, 24 hours a week at Hope House, helping maintain a safe and healthy environment for the people in our care. Hope House is a residential service providing outcome focused care for adults with a learning disability and associated complex needs who may have behaviours that challenge.

Hope House is in Hartlepool within walking distance to the town centre where there is an abundance of community facilities available, including colleges, swimming pools, a cinema, shops and a gardening club. In addition, just a 10 minute drive from the service, you will find Hartlepool Marina which is an 18th century seaport that features an abundance of bistros, bars, cafes, restaurants and entertainment options.

Your day-to-day

• Ensure the site maintains a high level of cleanliness
• Carry out daily & weekly cleaning regimes
