Job summary

Inspire Neurocare is seeking a Housekeeper in Worcester who will ensure a safe and clean environment for residents while carrying out various cleaning duties. The role requires knowledge of infection control and cleaning standards, preferably in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Infection Control and Health and Safety regulations.
• Preferably have some experience of working as a Housekeeper or within a Domestic team.
• Knowledge of cleaning protocols, especially in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all cleaning duties to the required company standards.
• Ensure all areas are clean and hygienic.
• Handle laundry and personal items with care.
• Interact with residents to offer assistance.
• Maintain housekeeping supplies and report shortages.

As a Housekeeper at Inspire Neurocare you will help create the warm and homely surroundings that are so important to ensure we can deliver high quality care and support to all our resident's.

You will help to ensure that every room and living space within the Centre is maintained to the highest standards, providing a safe, clean and therapeutic environment for resident's, staff and visitors.

We are specifically looking for a Housekeeper to join the Worcester team to support a period of growth due to occupancy.

What you'll be doing

• To carry out all cleaning duties as directed by the Housekeeping team to the required company standards.
• Ensuring all areas of the service are clean, hygienic, and well‑maintained, including bedrooms, communal spaces, and bathrooms.
• Handling laundry and linen with care and attention including personal items belonging to our resident's.
• Interacting with residents, offering assistance when needed.
• Maintaining housekeeping supplies and reporting any shortages to the manager.

About You

• Basic knowledge of Infection Control, Health and Safety regulations and COSHH guidelines.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning standards and protocols preferably within a clinical setting or similar.
• Preferably have some experience of working as a Housekeeper or within a Domestic team.
• You should be flexible and solutions focused.
• Be empathetic and have a desire to make a difference to the lives of our resident's.
