Menger Springs Senior Living Community in Boerne, TX is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our housekeeping team. You will help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff, with a focus on infection prevention.

This full-time position offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus, mileage stipend up to $100 per paycheck, and a 7:00am–3:30pm schedule Saturday through Wednesday. Prior cleaning experience preferred and the ability to work both independently and as part

Responsibilities

What You\'ll Do

As a Housekeeper in our Skilled Nursing building, you will help create a clean, safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and team members. Your work plays an important role in infection prevention and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness throughout the community.

Responsibilities Include

• Cleaning resident rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and disinfecting surfaces
• Cleaning and sanitizing resident bathrooms according to infection control standards
• Cleaning and disinfecting common areas, hallways, nursing stations, offices, dining areas, and public restrooms
• Changing bed linens and making beds as assigned
• Emptying trash and biohazard waste containers according to established procedures
• Restocking housekeeping supplies and notifying the supervisor when inventory is low
• Following established infection prevention, safety, and OSHA guidelines, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Responding promptly to spills and other cleaning needs to maintain a safe environment
• Maintaining resident privacy and confidentiality while providing services in resident rooms
• Performing other housekeeping duties as assigned

Qualifications
