La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Bardstown is hiring a Housekeeper to maintain guest rooms and public areas to the brand standards. You will clean, stock, and support a safe, welcoming environment for guests and teammates.

Qualifications

• Ability to clean and service guest rooms to brand standards.
• Demonstrates attention to detail in bed making and replenishing supplies.
• Ability to work independently and manage time while maintaining quality.
• Willingness to follow safety and cleaning procedures.
• Comfort with physical activity such as standing, bending, lifting, and walking.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms to company and brand standards.
• Change bed linens and make beds.
• Replace used towels and replenish guest amenities.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and carpets.
• Dust furniture and clean surfaces.
• Restock beverages, food items, and room supplies as needed.
• Clean and maintain public areas, including hallways and common spaces.
• Report maintenance concerns and safety hazards promptly.
• Assist guests with questions and requests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Help recover and report lost and found items.
• Follow all hotel safety, security, and cleanliness procedures.
• Ensure all assigned rooms are completed accurately and efficiently each shift.

What We're Looking For

• Previous housekeeping or room attendant experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to meet productivity standards while maintaining cleanliness expectations
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
• Dependable attendance and a positive attitude
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent is a plus
