Job summary

Volunteers of America National Services' Anoka Rehab & Living Center in Anoka, MN, is hiring a Housekeeper to keep resident rooms and common areas clean and comfortable. This role emphasizes compassionate service in a healthcare setting and offers a supportive, team-oriented workplace.

The position features a Monday–Friday schedule with every other weekend, hourly pay around $19.10–$19.75, and benefits such as health insurance, PTO, and 403(b).

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work in a Healthcare /Senior Living environment.
• Ability to understand and follow procedures, work assignments, instructions, warnings and labels.
• Adequate strength, endurance and coordination for cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms, apartments and common areas to maintain a safe, comfortable environment.
• Monitor and report areas needing maintenance.
• Provide a friendly presence and compassionate care for residents.

Pay Range: $19.10 - $19.75

Schedule: Monday - Friday, every other weekend - 64 Hours PPP

You will make a difference by providing companionship and much needed human interaction for our residents. The Housekeeper will clean rooms/apartments and common areas within the facility.

Essentials:

• Cleaning of all areas within the facility ultimately creating a clean and comfortable environment.
• Monitors and follows reporting procedures for areas in need of maintenance.
• Be a friendly face, in this time of need, for our residents.

Required Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Must be willing to work in a Healthcare /Senior Living environment
• Ability to understand and follow procedures, work assignments, instructions, warnings and labels.
• Adequate strength, endurance and coordination to meet the strenuous physical demands of such responsibilities as dusting, mopping, vacuuming and scrubbing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous institutional housekeeping/cleaning experience preferred.
