Job summary

Nippon Express USA, Inc. (NEU) is seeking a Household Goods Driver to lead daily moving operations, coordinating in-house crews and partner companies while ensuring safety and adherence to company policies.

This role may involve driving company vehicles and supervising packing, loading, and unloading at customer sites. The position requires a valid Class C license, DOT medical card or ability to obtain one, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old to participate in interstate commerce (FMCSR).
• Satisfactory MVR
• Satisfactory DQF documentation
• Valid Driver’s License Class C
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• DOT Medical card or able to pass a DOT physical to obtain a medical card

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned area of daily operations.
• Direct and support front-line drivers and crew members.
• Ensure work quality, safety, and compliance with applicable procedures.
• Conduct or support investigations and inspections.
• Lead daily crew operations at customer sites.
• Oversee safe packing, handling, loading, and unloading of household goods.
• Prepare and review import, export, and domestic transportation documents.
• Complete accident and damage reports, and support corrective actions and Kaizen initiatives.
• Communicate and coordinate with partner companies, Sales, and Customer Service.
• Transport and deliver goods according to Dispatcher schedule.
