Job summary

Legends Global is seeking friendly ushers for events in Tacoma, WA. You will greet guests, direct them to seats and facilities, scan tickets, check in Will Call and VIP guests, and hand out programs to ensure a smooth, welcoming experience.

The role requires teamwork, safety awareness, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Previous usher work is preferred, service experience is a plus, and compensation is $17.13 per hour with overtime and sick leave in accordance with state law.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests in a welcoming manner
• Accurately directing guests to restrooms, concessions areas, and seats
• Scanning admission tickets and passes from guests for each event
• Checking in Will Call, Premium, and VIP guests
• Passing out programs or other event-related materials
• Answering event or facility-related questions
• Assisting security personnel with crowd control
• Ensuring the safety of guests throughout the show or performance
• Maintaining the standards of cleanliness inside the theater and lobby
• Working as a part of a team to ensure the best experience for patrons and artists
• Consistently offering professional, engaging, and friendly service
• Other duties as assigned

Education And/or Experience

• Previous work as an usher preferred
• Experience working in the service industry a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor

Working Environment

• Sitting and standing for long periods of time.
• Position may include being outside the venue doors.

Work Hours

• May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
• Irregular hours
• Flexible schedule

Physical Demands

• Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds
• Handling objects, products, and scanning machines
• Must be able to stay in one location for long periods of time and safely/efficiently move about the entire facility

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $17.13 per hour
• Overtime: time and one-half paid for weekly hours over 40
• Sick leave paid in accordance with Washington state law
