Ardent Health Services is seeking a variable shift, PRN Nursing Administration House Supervisor RN in Pocatello, ID. The role supports patient care, nursing administration, and leadership duties during nights and weekends when other leaders are unavailable.

The incumbent must hold an Idaho RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS per hire timelines and bring conflict-resolution, disaster, and staff-support capabilities to the team.

Qualifications

• Current Idaho RN license.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• PALS within 1 year of hire.
• Ability to manage conflict resolution.
• Ability to manage disaster and in-house emergencies.
• Facilitate needs related to Morgue/Pathology/Organ Donation.
• Manage physician issues.
• Manage risk management/public relations.
• Be available for staff support issues.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Three years Med/Surg or Critical Care experience.
• Three years management/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• The House Supervisor serves as a resource/facilitator for patient care and assumes leadership duties on nights, weekends, holidays, and other times when leadership isn't available.
• Rounds on patient care units and provides on-demand management support and interventions as needed.

Responsibilities

• The House Supervisor serves as a resource/facilitator for patient care and assumes responsibility for Patient Care Services/Nursing Administration and Directors/Managers duties on nights, weekends, holidays and weekdays when other hospital and Department Leaders ers are not available.
• This person makes rounds on the patient care units and is available as needed for issues that benefit from management help and/or interventions.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Current RN licensure in the State of Idaho
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS within 90-days of hire
• PALS within 1 year of hire
• Ability to manage Conflict Resolution
• Ability to manage Disaster Management and In-House Emergency Situations
• Faciliate needs related to Morgue/Pathology/Organ Donation
• Manage Physician Issues
• Manage Risk Management/Public Relations
