Job summary

Ardent in Pocatello, ID is seeking a Nursing Administration House Supervisor RN for a variable shift, PRN position. You will act as a key resource for patient care and nursing operations, ensuring smooth unit function during off-hours.

The role requires Idaho RN licensure, BLS, ACLS and PALS within specified windows, plus leadership experience. BSN preferred, and you will lead staff support, manage risk, and coordinate with physicians and departments across nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Idaho
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role
• ACLS within 90-days of hire
• PALS within 1 year of hire
• Ability to manage Conflict Resolution
• Ability to manage Disaster Management and In-House Emergency Situations
• Faciliate needs related to Morgue/Pathology/Organ Donation
• Manage Physician Issues
• Manage Risk Management/Public Relations
• Be available for Staff Support Issues

Responsibilities

• The House Supervisor serves as a resource/facilitator for patient care and assumes responsibility for Patient Care Services/Nursing Administration and Directors/Managers duties on nights, weekends, holidays and weekdays when other hospital and Department Leaders ers are not available.
• This person makes rounds on the patient care units and is available as needed for issues that benefit from management help and/or interventions.
