Job summary

Cayuga Health in Ithaca, NY is hiring a House Supervisor to oversee nursing care across clinical areas on a shift and lead staff to deliver high-quality, compliant care. You will coordinate resources, collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and respond to emergencies with clinical leadership.

Required is an RN with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing and NYS RN license; BLS/ACLS/PALS can be obtained during orientation. Onsite, full-time days, with travel minimal.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required).
• Valid NYS RN License.
• BLS, ACLS and/or PALS (can be obtained during orientation).

• Ensure high-quality nursing care delivery, regulatory compliance, and positive patient outcomes.

• Drive operational excellence through strategic planning, problem-solving, quality improvement initiatives, and customer service standards.

House Supervisor

House Supervisors are accountable for care delivered in several clinical areas on a given assigned shift. House Supervisors advocate for and allocate available resources to promote efficient, effective, safe and compassionate care based on current standards of practice.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure high-quality nursing care delivery, regulatory compliance, and positive patient outcomes.
• Lead, coach, schedule, and support nursing staff while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

Pay Range Disclosure

• Standard Rate of $47.52 - $57.85 plus benefits
