Job summary

Suncoast Behavioral Health Center, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a House Nursing Supervisor for 7A-7P shifts to ensure high‑quality care on child, adolescent, and adult units. You will lead nursing staff, coordinate shifts, and collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain standards and safety.

The role requires a Florida RN license, current CPR/BLS, and at least five years in psychiatric nursing including charge nurse experience; strong clinical and managerial skills are

• Current license to practice nursing in Florida (or eligible to receive or renew).
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Five (5) years of clinical experience in psychiatric nursing, including Charge Nurse experience; knowledge of HR policies and procedures.

The program establishes healthy behaviors and prepares children to transition back home.

The facility is looking for a House Nursing Supervisor 7A-7P ($3,000 Sign-On Bonus) who will be responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all patients on the Child, Adolescent and Adult Units. As a key team member in the clinical area, the Nursing Supervisor promotes a climate of effective performance through role modeling, willingness to learn and teach, and availability to patients and staff. Organizes, manages and coordinates nursing services on assigned shift as delegated by the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:

• Current license to practice nursing in Florida (or eligible to receive or renew).
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Five (5) years of clinical experience in psychiatric nursing, including Charge Nurse experience. Must have thorough working knowledge of Hospital, Nursing, and Management of Human Resources policies and procedures, with demonstrated ability to use skills in clinical and managerial situations.
