Suncoast Behavioral Health Center is seeking a House Nursing Supervisor for the 7P-7A shift in Florida, overseeing nursing care on the Child, Adolescent and Adult Units. The role emphasizes leadership, clinical excellence, and coordination of nursing services under the Director of Nursing.

The RN must hold a Florida license, CPR/BLS, and have at least five years in psychiatric nursing including Charge Nurse responsibilities. Compensation includes benefits and growth opportunities within UHS.

The dedicated professionals at Suncoast Behavioral Health Center provide quality mental health treatment for children. The program establishes healthy behaviors and prepares children to transition back home.

As a key team member in the clinical area, the Nursing Supervisor promotes a climate of effective performance through role modeling, willingness to learn and teach, and availability to patients and staff. Organizes, manages and coordinates nursing services on assigned shift as delegated by the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements:

• Current license to practice nursing in Florida (or eligible to receive or renew).
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Five (5) years of clinical experience in psychiatric nursing, including Charge Nurse experience. Must have thorough working knowledge of Hospital, Nursing, and Management of Human Resources policies and procedures, with demonstrated ability to use skills in clinical and managerial situations.
