Job summary

Spire Hospitality LLC in Detroit Downtown is seeking a dedicated House Person to uphold our hotel's appearance and guest comfort. You will join the Housekeeping Team to ensure clean, well-prepared guestrooms and inviting public areas that make guests feel at home from check-in to departure.

The role emphasizes prompt service, meticulous cleanliness, stocking linen closets, assisting Room Attendants, and supporting peak occupancy with timely cleaning and waste removal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service by promptly addressing requests with care.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest floors, foyers, stairwells, and public areas.
• Stock linen closets and amenities to support Room Attendants.
• Assist with removing soiled linens and trash during peak times.
• Assist with deep cleaning and preventative maintenance in guestrooms.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide exceptional service to our guests by promptly addressing their requests with genuine engagement and thoughtfulness, ensuring their complete satisfaction
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness by meticulously maintaining guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, and public vending areas
• Ensure every detail is attended to by stocking linen closets with amenities and supplies to support our dedicated Room Attendants
• Support our team's commitment to excellence by swiftly removing soiled linens and trash from guest floor corridors and carts, providing crucial assistance during peak occupancy periods
• Perform deep cleaning activities in guestrooms alongside preventative maintenance tasks

Physical Demands:

• Lift, carry, push, or pull heavy loads weighing up to 50 lbs
• Extend arms overhead, scrub, bend, and stoop for extended periods and work in confined spaces

Qualifications:

Education:

Experience:

• CPR/ First Aid Certification required
