Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Head of Membership, House in Los Angeles to lead the full membership lifecycle, from acquisition and onboarding to retention and engagement. The role focuses on developing key relationships with local businesses and individuals, hosting events, and driving high-quality member applications.

The Head will manage the Membership Manager, collaborate with the Membership Directors, and align with the House Identity Plan while overseeing membership events and strategic outreach

Qualifications

• High level of personal contacts and networking skills in the creative disciplines local to the House.
• A highly social, outgoing individual who values personal interactions.
• Ability to convert contacts and connections into applications/sales.
• Some management capability of a small team/individual.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Membership Acquisition & Development: own full membership lifecycle, from onboarding to retention.
• Drive the quality of membership applications and ensure a vibrant, diverse base.
• Review membership applications and lead approval with the Membership Committee.
• Create, host and attend events to attract high-quality applications (min two nights weekly).
• Oversee member behaviour issues and liaison with the Behaviour Committee.
