The University of North Florida Board of Trustees is seeking a Front of House Supervisor for the Fine Arts Center-OPS. You will oversee Front of House activities during events in the Lazzara Performance Hall and Robinson Theater, supervise usher staff, and coordinate client contacts.
Responsibilities include setting up and breaking down lobby/front-of-house areas, managing concessions, and communicating with backstage crews to ensure safety and smooth operations. A flexible schedule is required.
Department Fine Arts Center-OPS Compensation $17.00 Hourly
MUST have a flexible schedule; events can be held during the day, at night, and on weekends.
Responsible for overseeing Front of House activities at events hosted in the Fine Arts Center's venues, which include the 1,300-seat Lazzara Performance Hall and the 700-seat Robinson Theater. Duties include supervising usher staff, acting as point of contact for clients during events, setting up and breaking down activities occurring in the lobby or other front-of-house areas, and managing the concession stand. Communicates with backstage crew throughout the event, manages compliance of the theater's health and safety standards, troubleshoots challenges during events, and greets patrons in a friendly and helpful manner.
