Overview: The House Attendant maintains cleanliness of assigned areas and equipment, and delivers items to guestrooms such as express checkout materials and newspapers.

Responsibilities:

1. Buff marble floors daily according to hotel standards.
2. Shampoo carpets and furniture in public areas as needed.
3. Assist with luggage in a friendly and efficient manner.
4. Handle Lost and Found items per hotel standards.
5. Clean guestrooms as required.
6. Know and assist with emergency procedures.
7. Maintain hotel equipment and proper storage.
8. Complete special projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
9. Ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred, or relevant experience.
• Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in a friendly, courteous manner.
