Opportunity: House Person

Clean and maintain public hotel areas according to established brand, guest service, and sustainability standards.

Your Growth Path

Housekeeping Supervisor/Guest Service Agent – Executive Housekeeper or Front Office Manager

Your Focus

1. Greet and acknowledge guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
2. Inspect assigned areas and perform cleaning tasks accordingly.
3. Collect trash from service landings and dispose of it in outside trash dumpsters.
4. Vacuum and dust guest corridors.
5. Pick up linen from hotel floors and transport to the laundry collection site.
6. Deliver clean linen to assigned sections.
7. Report maintenance issues.
8. Maintain cleanliness and organization of guest areas.
9. Respond to guest inquiries and provide assistance.
10. Assist as a room attendant during staffing shortages or peak periods.
11. Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work towards improving departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
12. Follow sustainability guidelines related to HHM’s EarthView program.
13. Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
14. Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
15. Perform other duties as requested by management.

Your Background and Skills

1. High school diploma preferred.
2. Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training preferred.

Work Environment and Conditions

1. Work schedule varies and may include holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
2. Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 25 pounds, reaching, bending, and kneeling.
3. Usage of cleaning chemicals.
