Overview

The House Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of assigned areas and equipment, delivering items to guestrooms, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

1. Buff marble floors daily according to hotel standards.
2. Shampoo carpets and furniture in public areas as needed.
3. Assist guests with luggage in a friendly and courteous manner.
4. Handle Lost and Found items according to hotel standards.
5. Clean guestrooms as required.
6. Know and assist with emergency procedures.
7. Maintain hotel equipment in proper working order.
8. Store hotel equipment appropriately.
9. Complete special projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
10. Ensure guest satisfaction at all times.

Qualifications

1. High School diploma or equivalent preferred, or relevant experience.
2. Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly.
3. Ability to stand throughout the shift.
4. Effective verbal and written communication skills, friendly and courteous demeanor.
